Pair of 4 Chairs, model Cesca, designed by Marcel Breuer. Manufactured in Italy around 1960 by Gavina manufacturer. Metal pipe frame, wood seat and back structure and rattan. In good original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Marcel Breuer (1902-1981), was a Hungarian-born modernist, architect and furniture designer. One of the masters of Modernism, Breuer extended the sculptural vocabulary he had developed in the carpentry shop at the Bauhaus into a personal architecture that made him one of the world’s most popular architects at the peak of 20th century design.

This set of 6 Model 537 Oresund chairs was designed by Borge Mogensen for Karl Andersson & Söner. It has been in production since 1955. These chairs stem from the first production period. The design was inspired by American Shaker furniture. It is made of dark brown original leather.These chairs, with their organic shapes, are an elegant choice for any interior. The leather color choice creates a strong but refined accent.

Set of Eight Antique French Directoire Dining Chairs is a relatively rare find, especially with this level of quality and preservation! The diamond pattern mohair is of the best quality but showing its age, so probably best replaced in the near future. The frames are solid sycamore, and feature double-pegged mortise & tenon joinery with swooping, elegant lines in the front legs and the back uprights that transition into the back legs in one long crescent shape. The seatback is the most visually striking aspect, with a panel across the top outlined in gold molding, and three arrows serving as the back splats. The color and patina of the luxurious old-growth hardwood have remained intact and only add to the allure.

The set of six chairs was made in the 1970s, Danish production.

The structure is made of teak wood. Back and seat covered with fabric. The chairs have original upholstery. The upholstery was made in brown, high quality fabric was used.

Condition: Original upholstery in good condition. Wooden structure preserved in good condition with normal signs of use. Minor scratches visible. Larger signs of use always shown in photos. Product ready to use.
