Vintage Design

The desk was made in the 1960s, produced by the Danish Munch Møbler manufactory. Designed by the duo of well-known designers Torben Valeur & Henning Jensen.

The structure and top are covered with mahogany veneer. The legs are made of solid wood, perfectly integrated into the construction of the desk. Surface refreshed. The front of the desk has two capacious drawers. Key included, lock in working order.

Condition: Refreshed surface. Minor scratches, dings and veneer losses are visible and have been filled in. Larger signs of use are always shown in the photos.

This model of desk by Valeur & Jensen rarely hang around for long and this one in particular has very nicely marked grain. It is in fantastic condition, and ready for your home or work office. There are six equal sized drawers on one side, and an open bookshelf on the other, so can be put anywhere in a room, and does not need to be against a wall
The Rosewood on this one is Santos, or to give it it’s Latin name Machaerium Scleroxylon, which does not require a CITES certificate and is no problem to import or export
