Wonderful set of mountain quail octagonal plates by Shenango China Anchor Hocking. The plates feature a mountain quail on a rock. The details of the image are lovely. The plates have a gold rim that highlights the octagon shape. This set was a limited edition series of original works of art. There is a maker’s mark on the backs of the plates.

Vintage “Surf Ballet” Turquoise and Platinum Dinnerware by Sascha Brastoff. Mixed lot containing 2 cups/saucers, an extra saucer, 2- 6/34″ bread & butter plates, 1 – 5 3/4″ coupe soup bowl, 1- 9″ Oval vegetable bowl.

Sascha Brastoff (1917-1993) was a performer, designer, and the founder of a successful production ceramics factory and line that operated in Los Angeles, California, from c.1946 – 1962.

This is a white floral Rosenthal Dinner plate from Gimbles of New York. It has a gold encrusted band at the verge, gold trim and multi color flower designs. I have not been able to find a pattern name or age yet.

The plate measures 10.00 inches across.

In between the floral sections, the plate has a basket weave design. I have a total of six plates, and some have some very minor wear on the inside rim of the verge. The plates have no chips, cracks, or other damage.
