Campanino chiavari chair of Fratelli Levaggi
Very elegant chiavari dining chair from the 1940s.
Sitting in rope and solid wood structure worked very finely making this chair a featherweight 🙂
The origin of this model dates from the beginning of the 19th century drawn by Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi.
This model is the version that Gio Ponti was inspired to draw his famous Superleggera model.
This classic style chairs is not lacking in style and has a crazy charm!
Note some traces of time on the wood but the chair is completely stable and functional. The strings are well preserved.
