Needlepoint High quality walnut stool dating to the Victorian period (c. 1860). The base bears a metal plaque of the cabinet makers W. Richardson & Co of Darlington.

Amazing needlepoint work that is in perfect condition even 100+ years later. The stuffing appears to be of horse hair. Wood detailing is stunning of a low profile with elegant lines.
