Vintage Design
Alias’ story began in 1979 with Giandomenico Belotti’s Spaghetti chair. The 1st edition of this chair was made of woven PVC spaghetti like material with a structure in enamelled steel. Later the chair was manufactured in many different editions. These chairs feature a black enamelled steel base with seats and backs in black rubber. These comfortable and elegant chairs are in very good vintage condition, this black edition is out of production. Still considered one of the most contemporary expressions of modern design, the chair is part of the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York.
