Vintage Design
Vladimir Yevgrafovich Tatlin (1885 – 1953) was a Soviet artist, sculptor and architect. He was a co-founder of the Russian Constructivist movement. His works are among the most important works of the Russian avant-garde. The rare “Tatlin” chair was designed by the son of an engineer in 1927. It was not until the 1950s that the chair was produced in series by the Italian company Nikol International. Tubular steel, chrome-plated. Wooden bucket seat, upholstered and covered with black leather. Welded and sanded tube ends. Excellent condition. Leather with some patina, chrome parts in perfect condition. Seat height 48cm.
