Vintage Design
Exceptional 1960s wall bookcase by Kai Kristiansen for FM Meubler currently out of production. Veneered in fine rosewood with wood-effect aluminum uprights, it is made up of 4 modules (each 86 cm wide). It has 4 closed compartments (2 that can be folded open and 2 with a very elegant retractable horizontal shutter) and 12 shelves with different depths. One of the shelves is inclined, ideal for displaying books or magazines. The interior of the compartments is set up with shelves and drawers lined in green velvet. The configuration of the various elements is flexible and free. The 2 keys are signed and there is a manufacturer’s label on the back of one of the modules.
It is undoubtedly a wall unit of great value capable of giving importance to any environment. The general conditions are very good.
