Vintage Design
This handsome Chinese cabinet still has it’s original black lacquer finish and paintings – now faded but still able to be made out. It originates from Shanxi province in central China and has stood the test of time well. The lacquer is slightly crackled over the years and is worn around the frame, upper lid and on sections of the doors. Unusually the cabinet still has it’s original hardware. It is rare nowadays to find a cabinet like this in such well preserved, original condition and this is a quite special piece.
