Vintage Design
This is a stunning and very practical Edwardian 10 Drawer haberdashery Shop Counter. The counter dates from c1910 and is manufactured of Oak by T Woofall & Son Shop fitters 72 Duke Street Liverpool. The counter is solid oak with 2 oxidised Copper pull handles to each drawer and inset ridge design to the fronts and each drawer dovetailed. The front of the counter is panelled, and it sits on a solid plinth. The counter is all very tight and so obviously been made by a craftsman of the time. All the drawers sliding in and out well again after all this time testimony to the quality of the counter considering the use it has had. This Counter will suit many settings both domestic as well as commercial, it would make an absolutely stunning kitchen island or as a side piece of furniture in a dining room, craft room, office or even a big hall in a residential setting or as a side display unit with drawer storage in high end boutiques or country clothing stores. As well as a statement counter set off with a large chandelier or other statement light fitting above it.

Light wear consistent with age and use, This counter is in superb condition obviously not without the odd bump or bruise as you would expect and wish to find, however it has needed nothing other than a good clean and wax polish
