Contemporary Design
Elegant and super contemporary, this collection—launched at the 2014 Milan Design Week—is a collaboration between the talented Spanish architect Patricia Urquiola and Botswana-based furniture maker Mabeo. The Sefefo long table is an iconic solid wooden dining table. It is an extension of the Sefefo series. It is sturdy, both in appearance and construction, with a 40mm thick, solid wooden top that has been reinforced with internal metal rods. The four legs are turned, grooved, as well as painted. A robust bolt mechanism allows for the table to be shipped flat, with tool-free assembly. The Sefefo is expertly handmade from sustainable hardwoods by the craftsmen and women of Mabeo in Botswana.
